SCA Confluence Loudspeaker Art Series
SCA Confluence Loudspeaker Art Series
The SCA Confluence Art Series features baffles individually crafted from raw hardwood slabs sourced locally in the Blue Mountains and "butterflied" to produce a stunning symmetry of uniquely highly polished presentation, both visually and audibly. Employing full range, high sensitivity 15 inch drivers, the presentation is wide and deep, considerably more so than from the more traditional cabinet mounting.
Open baffle designs are often noted for light bass reproduction. Not so the Confluence Loudspeaker System which includes the sublime SCA Seamless Sub. For amplifier combinations such as SCA's tube power and preamps, where pre out and main in jacks are available, one Seamless Sub per channel is the preferred arrangement for full channel separation of low frequencies. Where separation between per and power amp stages is not available, a single Seamless Sub would be the appropriate configuration.
Each Confluence Art Series is a unique production. Supply is limited to the availability of suitable sized and featured hardwood slabs each of which requires a couple of years of seasoning preparation. As a result, the provenance of each pair is known and quoted on the individual pieces.
An integral part of the SCA Confluence Open Baffle loudspeaker is the SCA Seamless Sub.
The mono option includes a single Seamless Sub driver and 125W class D plate amp. This option is the recommended choice where there is no system pre-amplifier.
In the absence of a pre-amplifier, the plate amp will be connected via its high level inputs to the loudspeaker outputs on the power amplifier.
The mono Seamless Sub configuration may also be employed with a system pre-amplifier.
