Record Restore Powered Turntable

Record Restore Powered Turntable

The most important variable in the Record Restore spread-to-peel process is the quality of the initial fluid application. An uneven bead — too thick at the inner groove, too thin near the edge, rushed at the lead-in or lead-out — produces an uneven film. An uneven film means uneven extraction. The cleaning result is only as good as the application that preceded it.

The Record Restore Powered Turntable removes application inconsistency from the process. A speed-controlled brushless DC motor turns the record at a steady rate, leaving both hands free to guide the fluid. The result is a controlled, even bead from lead-in to lead-out, every time.

The spread-to-peel process is straightforward — but the quality of the result is determined by the quality of the application. For users who find it difficult to rotate the record and apply fluid simultaneously with a steady hand, the Powered Turntable resolves that entirely. Combined with the Record Restore e-Syringe — which delivers a controlled, measured bead at a consistent flow rate — neither hand is doing two jobs at once. The motor turns. The e-Syringe delivers. Application quality is no longer a variable.

Motor and power

Driven by a standard 5V DC supply — a USB power adapter or power bank. The brushless DC motor is speed-controlled and reversible, allowing the record to be rotated in either direction during application. This makes it straightforward to check coverage, reposition, or work a section of the groove without lifting the record.

The platform can also be rotated by hand when preferred, in the same way as the manual turntable included in the Record Restore Box Set. Both modes deliver the same two-handed application — the motor removes the effort of maintaining consistent speed.

Both sides in a single session

The Powered Turntable retains the Record Restore system’s two-sided capability. Apply fluid to the first side, allow the film to form, peel cleanly, then flip and repeat — without dismantling or re-setting the equipment. Both sides treated in a single sitting.

Format compatibility

Handles 7”, 10” and 12” records.

In the Record Restore system

The Powered Turntable is designed for use with Record Restore fluid and the Record Restore e-Syringe applicator. The e-Syringe delivers a precise, controlled bead while the turntable maintains steady rotation — the combination that produces the most consistent spread across the full playing surface.
