Just when you thought the choice of tube amp kit from Elekit couldn't get any more deliciously enticing, along comes this limited offering, monoblock configuration featuring ultra-linear connection.

The monoblock configuration offers the ultimate in stereo reproduction, with the inherent distinct advantage of complete separation of left and right channel. To this ultimate expression of stereo reproduction, Elekit delivers further design excellence:

• The design supports use of various types of beam output tubes, such as octal-base (US 8-pin) beam tubes, from KT88 to KT170.
• Secret Chord Analogue supplies the LL3733 output transformer, specifically designed and manufactured by the highly regarded Swedish firm, Lundahl Transformers.
• The manner of speaker connection ensures the speaker output is isolated from both the amplifier circuit and the chassis ground.
• An adjustable input level control is provided at the rear of the chassis.
• Multiple protective measures are employed using fuses and PTCs.
• In TU-8888 the bias is set manually, an easily made adjustment using the meter provided.
• Coupling capacitors can have a big effect on the sound quality. For the TU-8888, high quality conductive polymer electrolytic capacitors and polypropylene film capacitors are provided. In true DIY style and with a nod to those seeking that final advanced tweak, provision is made for the substitution of larger, audiophile-specific coupling capacitors.
