As an authorised distributor for Australia’s own RedRoo and Japan’s legendary Elekit, we offer kits of the highest quality and which represent the finest in tube amp design.
The format of a day at Amp Camp is that you build at your own pace with periodic oversight from an instructor to verify accuracy and answer questions. In the event you are unable to finish, our technician will finish the project for you at no extra charge.
An Amp Camp takes a day due entirely to how we streamline the process. Preparation includes unpacking the kit, checking and separating the components into the logic of the build sequence and setting up a workstation with tools, all before you arrive.
Combined with our custom ‘Amp Camp cheat-sheets’, which fast track component location on the circuit boards, instead of the build taking several days you’ll have your amp fully built and tested in around eight hours – ready to take home, plug in and enjoy.
Amp Camps are held at our workshop in Australia’s picturesque Blue Mountains. They can be arranged for individuals or for groups of up to 10 people throughout the year – and we can often work in with your schedule.

I went to two Amp Camps (I missed building my power amp due to COVID) - one was to build my Elekit Pre-amp and the second to upgrade the Caps & Output transformers on my Elekit power amp.
Facilities were excellent and Stephen's guidance helps with your confidence if you don't do a lot of soldering. The kits were pre-organised to ensure you could focus on the build and not on finding the right parts. Stephen will QC your work so you can be confident you'll have a working product.
