The customer's Physical Graffiti album arrived with record 1 demonstrating a severe ripple warp at its edge and a wave mid side big enough to surf. The disc was unplayable. Using a modified application of the AFI FLAT.DUO record flattener and relaxer - and several days of processing - the record is now playable again. The disc in question has unquestionably been exposed to heat, not a commonplace event. Our usual application of the FLAT.DUO is for the relaxation or tempering of records which produces a significant improvement in playback clarity.
